Sans lui, pas de gravit\u00e9 sur la Lune, donc pas de marathon, donc pas de <em>Moon 42.195&nbsp;! <\/em>Pour permettre \u00e0 mes coureurs de disputer un marathon sur la Lune, il me fallait en effet les faire\u2026 courir. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Or, m\u00eame avec la combinaison spatiale la plus futuriste <em>(voir l\u2019annexe concern\u00e9)<\/em>, l\u2019absence de pesanteur sur notre satellite rend bien s\u00fbr la chose actuellement impossible &#8211; rappelez-vous les bonds de kangourou des astronautes des missions Apollo ! Mais l\u2019ensemble aurait perdu en rigueur &#8211; ne parlons m\u00eame pas de v\u00e9racit\u00e9. Il me fallait donc trouver une explication scientifique a minima cr\u00e9dible. A ce moment, j\u2019ai convoqu\u00e9 mes souvenirs de <em>Capitaine Flam<\/em>&nbsp;! Dans son 2<sup>e<\/sup> voyage (\u00e9pisodes 5 \u00e0 8), tir\u00e9 lui-m\u00eame du livre <em>Le D\u00e9fi<\/em>, il est charg\u00e9 de prot\u00e9ger les mines de \u00ab&nbsp;gravium&nbsp;\u00bb. Dans l\u2019imaginaire de la s\u00e9rie, ce m\u00e9tal tr\u00e8s rare permet de contr\u00f4ler la pesanteur et donc de voyager ais\u00e9ment dans l&rsquo;espace sans subir l\u2019absence de gravit\u00e9. Pas de chance pour moi&nbsp;: le gravium n\u2019existe que dans l\u2019esprit d\u2019Edmond Hamilton, aucune trace ailleurs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>C\u2019est alors que le graviton est venu \u00e0 ma rescousse. L\u2019explication se trouve dans le chapitre 20&nbsp;(et aussi dans toute bonne encyclop\u00e9die) : selon les travaux men\u00e9s d\u00e8s 1934 par les physiciens russes Dmitrii Blokhintsev et F\u00e9dor Gal&rsquo;perin, travaux ensuite th\u00e9oris\u00e9s par les Am\u00e9ricains Richard Feynman et Bryce DeWitt, le graviton est la particule \u00e9l\u00e9mentaire transmettant la force de la gravit\u00e9. Mais tout ceci n\u2019est que th\u00e9orie puisque son existence n\u2019a jamais \u00e9t\u00e9 prouv\u00e9e, malgr\u00e9 des recherches qui se poursuivent r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">D\u00e9j\u00e0 vu dans <em>Star Trek<\/em> ! <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Cela n\u2019a pas emp\u00each\u00e9 les sc\u00e9naristes de <em>Star Trek<\/em>, entre autres, de l\u2019utiliser \u00e0 plusieurs reprises dans les \u00e9pisodes de la s\u00e9rie. Bref, il ne me restait plus, \u00e0 leur instar, qu\u2019\u00e0 introduire le graviton dans l\u2019intrigue. Et donc \u00e0 le faire d\u00e9couvrir dans un futur proche. Pour \u00eatre le plus rigoureux possible sur sa possible future utilisation, j\u2019ai notamment contact\u00e9 Pierre Vanhove, chercheur \u00e0 l\u2019Institut de physique th\u00e9orique \u00e0 Saclay et auteur du chapitre \u00ab\u00a0<em>Le graviton existe-t-il ?<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb du livre <em>Qu&rsquo;est-ce que la gravit\u00e9 ? Le grand d\u00e9fi de la physique<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apr\u00e8s avoir dat\u00e9 la d\u00e9couverte de ce graviton \u00e0 2032, j\u2019ai ensuite profit\u00e9 de la libert\u00e9 offerte par l\u2019anticipation&nbsp;: j\u2019ai donc \u00ab cr\u00e9\u00e9&nbsp;\u00bb des \u00ab&nbsp;plaques de gravitons&nbsp;\u00bb, similaires \u00e0 celles de <em>Star Trek<\/em>, pour maitriser la gravit\u00e9 dans les lieux ferm\u00e9s. Puis afin de ma\u00eetriser cette m\u00eame gravit\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur, sur le sol de la Lune, les \u00ab&nbsp;semelles \u00e0 gravitons&nbsp;\u00bb ont vu le jour afin de g\u00e9n\u00e9rer un mi-champ gravitationnel autour de leur porteur. Derni\u00e8re \u00e9tape&nbsp;: allier tout ceci aux nouvelles combinaisons spatiales, afin de permettre aux coureurs de Moon 42.195 de se d\u00e9placer comme sur la Terre&nbsp;!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le graviton sera-t-il d\u00e9couvert un jour, comme l\u2019a \u00e9t\u00e9 le boson de Higgs, l\u2019un de ses \u00ab&nbsp;cousins&nbsp;\u00bb&nbsp;?
